Privacy policy

This website runs without tracking, advertising networks or analytics. Fonts, scripts and styles are served from our own server. The only third party involved is the map display — and it loads only after your explicit consent.

1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

CM Immobilienmanagement GmbH
Friedrich-Ebert-Strasse 134
42117 Wuppertal
Germany

Phone: +49 202 261 598 40
E-mail: info@cm-immo.eu

Flächenpilot is a business unit of CM Immobilienmanagement GmbH.

2. Data protection officer

Sascha Twesten
CM Immobilienmanagement GmbH
Friedrich-Ebert-Strasse 134
42117 Wuppertal

E-mail: info@cm-immo.eu

You may contact our data protection officer directly at any time.

3. Visiting the website — server log files

Each time the site is accessed, our hosting provider automatically processes information transmitted by your browser:

  • the page or file requested
  • date and time of access
  • volume of data transferred and confirmation of successful retrieval
  • browser type and version, operating system
  • referring page
  • IP address

This data is technically necessary to deliver the website, ensure its stability and prevent misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in secure and trouble-free operation. This data is not combined with other sources. Log files are deleted after seven days at the latest.

4. Map display (OpenStreetMap)

We use map material from OpenStreetMap to display locations. The provider is the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom.

The map is not loaded automatically. You first see a placeholder showing the property address. Map tiles are only retrieved from openstreetmap.org once you explicitly release the map. This transmits your IP address to the OpenStreetMap Foundation; without this transmission the map could not be displayed.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and section 25(1) TDDDG. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

The United Kingdom is recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission. Further information is available in the OpenStreetMap privacy policy: osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy

5. Audience measurement (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to understand how this website is used — which spaces are viewed and how visitors find us.

Measurement only takes place if you have consented. Without your consent the measurement script is not loaded; no cookies are set and no data is transmitted to Google. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer; any measurement cookies already set are deleted in the process.

Once you consent, Google Analytics sets cookies (including _ga and _ga_<id>) and processes in particular: truncated IP address, pages viewed and time on page, approximate location at city level, referring page, and details of your device, browser and operating system.

We have configured the following settings to limit the processing:

  • IP anonymisation — your IP address is truncated before any further processing, so we cannot identify you.
  • Google signals disabled — no cross-device linking with Google accounts takes place.
  • No advertising features — the data is not used for personalised advertising.
  • 14-month retention — usage data is deleted automatically after that period.

A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Google. Transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission established an adequate level of protection by decision of 10 July 2023. The Commission's standard contractual clauses apply in addition.

Further information: policies.google.com/privacy. You can also prevent collection by Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

6. Storage in your browser

Apart from audience measurement we do not use cookies. Two features rely on your browser's local storage (localStorage). This data remains solely on your device and is never transmitted to us or to third parties:

  • Consent decision (fp_consent) — so that you are not asked again on every visit. You will be asked again after twelve months. This storage is necessary to fulfil your express request (section 25(2)(2) TDDDG).
  • Shortlist (fp_merk) — the spaces you have marked. A purely technical convenience feature, which you can clear at any time via your browser settings.

7. Contact and space enquiries

The forms on this website — the general contact form and the enquiry about a specific space — transmit no data to our server. Your entries are assembled into an e-mail within your browser, which then opens in your own e-mail program. It is only sent when you click "Send" there, via your own e-mail provider.

Once your message reaches us, we process the details submitted (name, e-mail address, property and period details and your message) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

We delete this data as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of processing and no statutory retention periods apply. It is not passed to third parties unless this is necessary to handle your enquiry — for example to the owner or operator of the property concerned.

To protect against automated submissions, the forms contain a simple arithmetic question and a field invisible to you. Both are evaluated solely within your browser; no data is transmitted to third parties.

8. Hosting

This website is hosted by a service provider that processes data on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with that provider.

9. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access (Art. 15 GDPR) — whether and which data we process about you
  • Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) — to have inaccurate data corrected
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) — unless a retention obligation applies
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection (Art. 21 GDPR) — to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR) — at any time with effect for the future

An informal message to info@cm-immo.eu is sufficient.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestrasse 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.

11. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy when the legal situation, our services or the nature of data processing change. The version published on this page applies.
